Develop profitable, win/win relationships

No question about it; you provide one of the most valuable services imaginable. However, without an ongoing and ever-increasing number of new, quality prospects, you'll eventually run out of people with whom to share the benefits of your Network Marketing compnay.. You might even end up asking yourself that most dreaded of questions in the world of sales, which is, "Who do I talk to next, now that my original list of names has run out?" That thought can be downright discouraging, can't it? Then again, it need not happen.

Develop profitable, win/win relationships with practically every new person you meet - whether one on one or in a social setting.

How? Ask questions. Specifically, "feel-good" questions. These are questions designed to put your conversation partner at ease, and begin the rapport-building process.

These are not intrusive, invasive, or in anyway resembling those of the stereotypical salesperson. Feel-good MLM questions are simply questions that make your new prospect/potential referral-source feel good; about themselves, about the conversation, and about you. Vital, because "all things being equal, people will do business with, and refer business to, those people they know, like and trust." Asking feel-good questions is the first step to accomplishing that goal.

So what are some of these "Feel-good" type questions?

"How did you get started in the 'widget' business?" I call this the "Movie-of-the-Week" question because most people love the opportunity to "tell their story" to someone. This, in a world where most people don't care enough to want to know their story.

"What do you enjoy most about what you do?" Again, you are giving them something very positive to associate with you and your conversation. You are making them feel special, important.

You've begun to establish a nice rapport with your new prospect. You are focusing on him or her, as opposed to you and your awesome product, as most salespeople do. He or she is starting to feel good about you and has enjoyed answering your first two "Feel-good" questions. Now it's time for the "One key question," and here it is:

"Pat, how can I know if someone I speaking with would be a good prospect for you?"
Here, you've continued to establish yourself as being different from all others they meet who are in business, who only seem to want to know, "How can you help me." Also, since you are asking for help in identifying their prospects, she will gladly supply you with an answer. And the fact is, nothing builds trust and credibility with an MLM prospect than actually referring business to them whenever possible.

Your conversation has ended and you never even mentioned your products or services. Good, since your relationship with this new prospect may not be far enough along for him or her to be receptive to this. (At other times it's very advisable to bring up.) That's fine. Hopefully, you've gotten your prospect's business card. Now you are in the position to follow up correctly and systematically in order to nurture this new relationship.

Whenever meeting new people, the above questions will help you to very quickly build your prospect list with high-quality people. And, in a manner that is fun and without stress. You'll never again feel the "discomfort" in the pit of your stomach, knowing that you have to nervously and clumsily approach someone you don't want to approach, and whom you can just sense, does not want to be approached.

Know this: the typical person knows about 250 people. Thus, every time you meet one new person, and develop a relationship based on the fact that he or she now feels as though they "know you, like you and trust you" you've actually just increased your personal prospect list a potential 250 people, every single time. Do this often enough and before long, you'll cultivate a network of endless referrals.

10 Ways To Indirectly Get To The Top Of Search Engines

There are millions of web sites trying to get listed in the top 20 spots of the major search engines. That amounts to a lot of competition! I say if you can't get listed at the top, indirectly get to the top.

How do you do this? Look up the top 20 web sites on the major search engines under the keywords and phrases people would find your MLM web site. The key would be to then advertise on those web sites.

The most expensive way would be to buy ad space on those Network Marketing web sites. If you don't want to spend any money, you could use the ten strategies below. These strategies may not apply to every web site.

1. Participate on their discussion boards. You could post questions, answer other peoples questions, and join in on conversations. Just include your signature file and link at the end of your messages.

2. Ask the web site owner if they would like a free ebook to giveaway to their visitors. You could have them link to your web site or include your ad in the free ebook.

3. Submit content to their web site. You could write articles for their web site and include your resource box and link at the end of the article. If they publish it, you'll indirectly be at the top of the search engines.

4. Write an excellent article review of their web site, products or services. Then publish the review on your web site. E-mail the web site owner and tell him or her about it. They may link to your web site so their visitors read it.

5. Ask the owner of the web site if they would want to trade advertising. If you don't get as much traffic as they do, you could throw in some extra incentives.

6. Propose a cross promotion deal with the web site. You both could promote each others products or services together in one package deal. This means a mention and link back to your web site.

7. Give the web site a testimonial for their product or service. Include a little text link for your web site with the testimonial. You never know; it could end up on their ad copy.

8. Post your advertisement on their free classified ad section on their web site. You want to be sure you have an attractive headline so they will read your ad.

9. Post your text link on their free-for-all links page. You want to go back and post your link regularly so it stays towards the top.

10. Sign their guest books. You could leave a short compliment about their web site on their guest book. Just include your signature file and link at the end of your message.

Opening up conversation with people is for many an uncomfortable task. IT shouldn't be. Conversation is the secret to this MLM business, and there are 5 very easy ways to open up a conversation with someone that you would like to meet.

WARNING in MLM.

But I must warn you!

DON'T come across like you are "up to something". People will read right through that. Keep your focus on serving the masses with Network Marketing , and helping people solve life problems with your home business and products, and simply wanting to meet a friend you have not met yet.

These ideas are very basic, but few do them when they are out and about.

Here are 5 ways:

1) Compliment them on something they are wearing or carrying.

People like to be noticed. Simple and plain. They like to be noticed for what they are "displaying" about themselves. What they are wearing or carrying is telling you a little bit about who they are...

I always start a compliment with a question:
"Would it be ok if I paid you a compliment about something I have noticed about you?"
Or if it's a guy...."You know, I don't give out a lot of compliments, but I like that suit you have on. Very professional. Good cut.". This will set up anticipation, and not come across like you are phony, ar insincere which many folks do...they have the wrong intentions when they compliment someone. Plus people will feel good that you noticed!

2) Ask for directions.

I use to do this all the time when in a mall in a town I was new to. I would ask if they knew were a particular store was, or a place to eat. Then I would say I am from out of town, or new to this neighborhood, and asked if they lived around here.
Then I would ask them if they had a family,hobby...etc. Then I would say...."Maybe you can help me...you may know who I am looking for..."

The POWER Home Business Question.

3) Ask what they do for a living.

One of the most powerful things you can do when Networking, is ask a person "What do you do?" Then ask another question about what they just said.
Then ask another question about what they just said.....and you will start finding out about them and who them might know to help you.

"Gotta card?" is a great way to extend this conversation into a later time.

4) Carry a book on Success or Leadership and casually ask people if they have read it.

Then ask them if they like to read and if they read Success and Leadership books. If they do, discuss the last one they read, and one they would recommend.
Get them talking about Success and ask them if they are a Student of Success. You will be surprised at the people you meet that are! And looking for a new future!

5) Ask for their name after giving yours.

This one is so simple, but few do it. "Hi, my name is Doug. How are you? I apologize for asking this, what is your name? I have never had the pleasure of meeting you." This is such a simple way to meet people. You even apologize for bothering them for their name, which is a soft way of asking for it, and you almost always get it this way!
Open up as many conversations as you can, and your business will skyrocket!

The MLM Standard.

Oh...here is one final opener:

Smile.
Look in their eyes.
Nod your head.
Stick your hand out to shake theirs.
And say..."I am sorry,but I don't know who you are. My name is Mary, I am with ABC Company. May I have your name ?"
Open your eyes wide.. And SMILE!

Every where I have the honor of speaking, I see over and over the 5 types of recruiters on MLM....and they all remind me of animals.

Animals have a particular way of creating in their habitat what they need to survive and live on...and to become what nature meant for them to be...
Network marketers are a lot like that too...

Last week I was deluged with emails about the article on "Recruiting the Wrong People."
My good friend John Milton Fogg emailed me and said he was putting that article up on his Greatest Networker site..."Wow Dougie! I am stealing this article for my site! Catch me if you caaaannnnn! Great stuff!"

So....
This week's article explains a lot of WHY folks recruit the wrong people, and you may even see yourself in one of these Recruiting Animals that run rampant in MLM...

There are 5 Types of recruiters in MLM...

The first:

1) The Snake.
This is the type of recruiter that deceives and takes advantage of folks and is a cancer to this great industry.

This recruiter has one focus.... to TAKE and do whatever it takes to recruit you...including unethical things and practices...

Why?

Who knows, but they are out there, and it is a shame...
A snake slithers around the ground silently and looks for prey...

Sound familiar? Know anyone like that?
If you do...stay away from them as they are bad news...

2) The Hyena...

This is the person who simply cannot shut up during a recruiting meeting or call.... they are focused on themselves and talk about themselves and like a hyena, run their mouths and laugh a lot all in the name of "look at me...and what I have done..."

Give me a break...

FireStarter Secret:

People come into this business for THEIR reasons.... Not yours...
Keep the conversation focused on them and not you...don't be like a hyena and dominate the meeting...
Don't be like a hyena and look foolish to the prospect...
Don't be like a hyena and constantly be engaged in bringing attention to you...
Keep your attention on them, and you will have a much better chance of recruiting someone...

3) The Cow...

The Cow is the "Lay around all day and do nothing and chew on CUD..." recruiter...
These folks are the less-than ambitious people who wander around in MLM and chew on "Failure Grass..." and it ends up CUD....

Cows chew CUD daily...what does "CUD" stand for?
"Consistently Unproductive Daily...."

That's what Cows do...they do nothing and get nothing in this business...
Brutal?
Yes.
The Truth?
Absolutely!

Are you a Cow in recruiting? Do you MOOOOO? (As instead of working, you end up watching MOOOOvies?)

That is called a CLUE!!!!! GET BUSY and quit chewing Failure Grass and CUD! Success Grass tastes 1000 times better!!!!!!!

4) The Beaver...
These are the folks that are teachable, and are eager to work and are excited about the business.
They have a great work ethic, and a great mental focus, and they are into one thing:
BUILDING.

They are into Network Marketing to BUILD and build more...they like to build DAMS....
DAMS are what create success in MLM...
The DAM of Belief...
The DAM of Action...
The DAM of Results...
The DAM of Consistency.
The DAM of Prospects....

You know what DAM stands for?
Doing All Methodically....
And that is what they do.... ALL...what ever it takes, and they do it Methodically, step by step, daily, and never give up...They prospect, contact, present, follow up, get the decision, and train DAILY!
Till they have built a DAM and reservoir of SUCCESS!

5) The Eagle...

The Eagle is a recruiter that is in a class all by themselves...
They soar above the crowd when it comes to recruiting, and they are sharp and focused in their efforts...
They are totally professional, and have great Leadership skills...they are sharp in many ways and have great communication and building skills...
They recruit from a "what is best for you. Not best for me" standpoint, and always puts the prospect first and foremost.
The eagle knows whom they want to recruit, and doesn't bother with anybody else...
Eagles look for other Eagles, or those who aspire to be...
Eagles search out for the BEST in people...and then when they find it, they know they have something to build on...and to recruit.
Eagles are head and shoulders above most in recruiting in their actions, consistency, attitudes, and work ethic...

OK....

Where are you in the 5 Types of recruiters?

MLM Network Marketing Training- What to Say to Your Cold Market Prospects

What Do You Say To A Cold Market Prospect When Calling?

Your purpose in calling an MLM cold market prospect (that has answered an ad, or a card deck lead, etc.) is to qualify them to see if they will need further information. Find out first if it's a good time to be calling them. After all, you do not want to interrupt them while they may be having dinner with their family!

Start with asking some important questions. By asking questions we find out what a person's values are and what's important to them so we can help them. Before you call someone try not to assume that this is going to be right for them. Keep in mind that you are looking for people who are positive, friendly, and willing to speak with you and answer your questions. This is your interview! You are in charge here! Try not to get into much social chat at this time because this first call is actually a disqualifying call. After all, this may not be the right timing for them so your job is to find this out.

Disqualify them so to speak.....Sort of like an investigator! But a friendly investigator! Try not to spend more than 3 to 5 minutes on this first call.Always remember you have the power here.....you have the gold! Your job is to see if they qualify for more information! Network Marketing isn't for everyone.

Can anyone do it? Of course......but is this the right time in their life to make a commitment? Your job is to find this out.Let the person you are calling know who you are and where you are calling from. And that you are calling them back after they responded to your ad, card deck lead, or left a message on your VM in reference to working from home. Your purpose for this call is to find out.....

Why did they respond to your ad, card deck, etc.?What are they looking for?What do they do now? Do they work full time, part time? Have they been laid off? (If someone has been laid off and has no income at all this may be the first indication to you that the timing may not be right for them to start a business. Finding this out is important because some people may be in a financial position to start a business in this case and some may not be. Some may not even have enough money to put food on the table, so you need to find out where they are. Keep in mind this is a home business and any legitimate business venture of value will have some start up costs. I've read about many very successful people in this industry who were in desperate situations when they started their Network Marketing businesses.

They had a very strong WHY for wanting to succeed in this business and they did it on a shoe string, so it is possible for some.)What sort of background do they have?If you have a card deck post card they returned to you, go through the questions they checked as follows:"It says here, Mary, that you are looking for a home based business, is that correct?""It also says that you are currently with a NM'ing company, is that correct?""Mary, which company are you with?""What do you like about your company?" "What do you dislike?" "Mary, why are you looking for another company at this time?""When you first joined your company why did you join?""It says here that you would have 5 to 6 hours to devote to your home based business, is that correct?""It says here Mary, that you have such and such for start up cost for your business, is that correct?" "

Ok great, we can discuss that more later, right now we need to determine together if this is something you would like further information on.""Mary we pride ourselves on two very important things,1. Our ability to determine what a person is really interested in and if this is the right time for them in their lives to start a home based network marketing business.2. We are professionals and we believe that follow up is very crucial for all of us.""Does this sound good to you?""We realize this is a very important decision for you. It's not our job to convince or talk you into something. It's our job to find out if the timing is right for you and to get you all the information necessary so that you can make an informed decision. We are looking for highly motivated, self starting, positive people that are coachable and willing to commit to follow our training systems.

We show people how to build their own successful home based network marketing business." (Really get across to them how serious you are. Be very confident because you know that you have something of value!)"Mary does this sound like something you would be interested in hearing more about?"Note: (If you are new it's very important to get your belief level high by attending any training's in your area, get on conference calls, reading books on MLM, study your product information, go to your company conferences! If you do not feel comfortable making calls in the beginning make a few with your upline until you feel more comfortable. I'm the sort of person that jumps right in and does things. I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning and still do. I have learned a lot from listening to my upline mentors! Believe me the calls get easier and easier as your belief gets stronger and stronger by doing the above things I mentioned! )

You won't really know how to do it until you..... Just DO it! If they start to ask what it is or who you are with, always tell them the company you're with! You are extremely proud to be representing your company and the Network Marketing industry, so this is not a problem for you to say so but you need to tell them that you do not have time at this point to go into all the details because you have a lot of calls to make tonight. Say to them...."This call is just to determine if we need to get you further information so you can do some research of the company, does that make sense to you?"

If someone gets really irate, hey you don't have to work with them do you? You just disqualified them didn't you? Remember this is your interview and you have the gold! "Good, then just let me verify your information on the card here........Mary are you on the internet? Great! (get her email address). I'm going to send you all the information you need right online." (If you have a website let them know, and give it to them over the phone but make sure you get their email address as well so you can send them the website yourself as a good follow up measure.)

If your company has a hotline number give this number as well. Then say to her....."This information will let you know if this is right for you. Review it very closely and I will get back in touch with you to answer your questions. Then we can determine together if we need to mail you out an information packet. Does that sound fair to you?" "Let's get back in touch next week to go over the information. How does that sound?" Then set up a time to get back with her.If they are not on the internet, verify the address and send them your information via postal mail.DO NOT send to much information after this first call!

You could overwhelm them by doing this. Something that explains your company or an audio tape is a good first mailing piece. Just something for them to see if they want to pursue it further! Make them go through a few hoops before giving them any of your precious gold!

1) THOU SHALT MAKE A DECISION TO LEAD.

Simply, there is nothing more powerful in this Industry than a True decision to Lead. It seems when that happens; you literally become magnetized to Success.
How can you tell a True Decision? It is a Decision from the heart, not just the mind. You simply cannot imagine traveling down any other Path, because of the Success Power in Decision.
Right in the middle of the word Decision is the word "Is". If you are looking for the Secret of Success to this business, there it "Is'

2) THOU SHALT HAVE AN IGNITED VISION.

Your Vision needs to be more than just on course or on track. It needs to be ONFIRE! It needs to be Crystal Clear, Powerful, and Hot! As my friend John Milton Fogg says, " A leader when they meet people, should either Ignite them, or Melt them."
It needs to be a consuming Vision OnFire that people are compelled to enroll in and buy into, whether it is wealth, helping people, or changing the world.
The real Power in your Vision , the real "Heat" is in the Fire in your Heart…where the MLM Vision is birthed and ignited, and ignites others hearts with Hope, Possibilities, and Change.

3) THOU SHALT DIRECT, GUIDE, AND NAVIGATE.

You must as a Leader have a plan, a step by step trail, and direct your people down the MLM Power Path. You must guide them along the way to solve challenges, and navigate them through storms that do happen in this business and life.
How?
With your Network Marketing support, coaching, caring, instructing, and believing. Remember, the North Star of your organization and compass for your people is your Leadership. Navigation requires knowing where you are, but also where you are headed, and how you are going to get there.
The Last syllable in Navigate is Gate. You must provide the Gate to Success for others …It is up to them to open it and walk through.

4) THOU SHALT CREATE INFLUENCE THROUGH ETHICS, INTEGRITY, & SINCERE CARING.

There is nothing more powerful and compelling than a Leader who cares more about their distributor's paycheck, than their own. People are magnetized to it.
And the influence that creates through the ethics that are needed to do it, is enormous. But as a leader, you must always display ethics and integrity to maintain respect with your people.
And sincere caring Leaders know, people don 't follow what you say, or what you do, as much as who you are.

5) THOU SHALT CREAT AN ENVIRONMENT OF HOPE, POSSIBILITIES, & EXPECTANCY.

You must create an environment that your distributors can grow and thrive in. An environment of hope and possibilities, and that the hope will be crystallized into Success. You must also create an environment of expectancy.
MLM Leaders know that people usually rise to the level of their expectations. Believe and expect big things from your people. As oxygen is to a population, your belief is to your organization.
Let your distributors "breathe the air of Success", in MLM, which gives life to every distributor, and creates an Incredibly Empowering environment.

6) THOU SHALT EMPOWER EVERYONE THROUGH BELIEF, KNOWLEDGE, & ENCOURAGEMENT.

Leaders have an incredible chance to empower people, and change their life through this business. And the greatest way to empower is to believe in them. The 4 most powerful words in network marketing are "I believe in You!"
And through the Power of Encouragement, like "You can do it!" and the proper knowledge of how to do it, you will become their biggest supporter, and cheerleader. Believe and encourage your people...through Heart Power and the Fire of Belief.

7) THOU SHALT BE OUT IN FRONT, NOT STUCK IN THE BACK.

Leaders are a lighthouse in a sea of adversity and frustration in network marketing. And your distributors must always be looking forward.
Being out in front also means doing what your teaching them and setting the example. You must understand, your distributors quietly watch you, and observe.
You will never know it, but they are watching to see if you practice what you are preaching. If you are not, they will quietly duplicate what you are doing. Show them the way, and lead them through what we a PassionFire call "The New Distributor Fog"…the fog of doubt, frustration, and discouragement. You do that by leading them through the fog with your light of Leadership.

8) THOU SHALT STAND BEHIND THE SPOTLIGHT.

MLM Leaders know: You make the Big Money from the back of the room. Do you understand that? Too many distributors get leadership and what we call "celebrityitis" mixed up. A lot of distributors become a celebrity when they get successful, and to the detriment of their group.
Leaders who build permanent downlines put the recognition spotlight on their people then stand behind it, and stay there. Yes, Leaders do need to be visible to inspire, but the Power lies in recognizing and celebrating every little attempt or success to encourage and build the distributor's confidence in this business.
Why?
People will do more for recognition than money. That's MLM Leadership 101.

9) THOU SHALT CONSTRUCT, NOT CONSTRICT.

We at PassionFire believe in the L.I.A.C.P. Principle.
Leadership Is A Construction Project.

First, you must build you, and construct the skills; attitudes, habits, and thinking you need to succeed in this business. Then you must construct your people, through all we have been talking about in this article. And then you construct your business.
Most distributors constrict their business with a very limiting self-focus, and looking out for #1 attitude. The average distributor has a selfish focus. Leaders have a selfless focus.
And that brings us to what we call "The Leadership Paradox". You must construct your business by building you first, downline second, and business third, but all at the same time.
If you understand what I just said, you are on your way to building a retirement vehicle.

10) THOU SHALT BUILD RELATIONSHIPS, NOT JUST DISTRIBUTORSHIPS.

What is the Secret to building A Million-Dollar Distributorship?
You build Million Dollar Relationships.
Remember that it is easier to walk away from a business than a friend. Get to know your folks, especially your Leaders as people, not just a paycheck. Get to know their dreams, what is important to them, and especially what they value. Spend personal time with your leaders, and develop that bond. Visit their house, their workplace, "Their world", and make it a part of yours.
And always, always, always put their interests ahead of yours. That will create amazing loyalty, which will create amazing motivation, which will create amazing paychecks.
Get on a ship and sail on the sea of relating, and when people discover you are truly interested in them; that is when your paycheck becomes truly interesting.

1.Reap what you sow! What does that mean? It's vital you keepprospecting to keep the funnel full. The prospecting funnel is thelife-blood of your network marketing business. It's the heartbeat ofyour business.

2.You must use your product or service no matter what yourecommend. If you don't use your product you are going to have atough time convincing your prospects to use it. What is your personal story?

3.Ask yourself what are your prospects most fundamental concerns are. Become a problem solver match your MLM business opportunity orproduct to their primary wants.

4.If you don't succeed totally on a prospecting call, qualify themfor the future. Follow up again in 6 months to check if yourprospects circumstances have changed.

5.Go back to high potential prospects that didn't join or purchaseyour product. You have a much better chance when you go back becauseyou have developed your skills over a period of time.

6.When leaving a message with a machine or person identifyyourself. Identify yourself with your title and where you're callingfrom because it adds credibility.

7.When leaving a message on voicemail speak slowly and clearly. Itgives your listener time to take notes. Always repeat important details.

8.Prepare your voicemail strategy before making your call. Prepare what you're actually going to say. You will sound more confident andmore competent.

9.Every time you leave a voicemail message be certain to insertsomething of value and interest. Your prospect needs a reason to takeaction.

10. Don't be too concerned with the best time to call an MLM prospect.The best time to call is when you're available. If you're not on thephone you don't have any chance reaching anyone.

11. Have call objectives for your day and stick to! When you haveyour day planned you will be more focused and likely to take action.Take prospects from first contact to a scheduled interview.

12. Take each call, as far it will possible go. Have an objectiveand reason for your call. If you have an objective of making firstcontact to then interviewing your prospect take your call throughthis process. Don't have a limited notion it takes X number of dialsto achieve this and make a sale.

13. Do a little more each day. Challenge yourself and you will grow...beat your results anyway you can and it will do wonders for yourbusiness. MLM is a personal development program with a pay planattached.

14. Your opening statement must always address your prospectsprimary wants. What is it your prospect wants? What's in it for yourprospect?

15. Begin follow up calls with pro-active phrases like: I'm callingto review, I'm calling to discuss, I'm calling to analyse, I'mcalling to go over what we talked about on out last call or I'mcalling to continue our conversation from last time.

16. Opening statements should be scripted, but never read. Youropening statement should come across naturally and conversational.Write your opening statement the same way as you speak. Role-playwith your upline or coach. Learn it word for word and memorise it. Ithelps to establish the opening rapport and learn about your prospectsprimary wants.

17. Go back to your inactive down line and call them. "We had theopportunity to work together last year"... Situations change! See wherethey're at and if you can work together again.

18. Pause after you have asked a question for two to three seconds(golden silence). Give prospects time to respond. Don't answer forthem. It applies when they ask you a question. Show you're concernedabout responding to them. Think through what you're going to say backto them. Adds credibility. Take notes about your conversations anduse keywords your prospect has used.

19. Listen for tones and feelings behind your prospects words. Thereis hidden meaning in what we say, by how we say it. Face-to-face it'scalled body language. It shows you've been educated on how to dothings properly. How we say something is as important as we say it.

20. Don't get frustrated when someone answers your call and are in arush. Accept people can be occupied with others things. Gage yourresponse, initial questions or call back at a more convenient time.21. Practice listening on the phone and off. Most of us are guiltyof selective hearing. Learn not to be judgemental or biased...listen toinformation and then process it.

22. If you have done everything right your prospect will volunteerto join or purchase your product...don't count on it. Close yourprospects. Simply ask them what their next step is. What is theirplan? When? Follow up and follow through.

23. Use questions to strike with prospects convictions. Theirconviction may not be strong enough yet. Strengthen their convictionsby asking questions... What do you suggest we do from here? They will tell you.

24. Ask for a commitment with conviction. Is there any reason whyyou won't join XYZ Company today? Is that your plan? Are going tojoin today? Talk in a positive way.

25. Get people to visualise using your product or service. Help people visualise the success they can have with your businessopportunity. What does it means to them. It comes back down to your prospects primary wants. What will $4,000 a month allow your prospect to do? Ask them!

MLM Network Marketing Training- Can You Afford to Work?

CAN YOU AFFORD TO WORK?

Would you send your children to childcare for 45 hours per week so that you could work 40 hours per week to make a measly $3.80 per hour? Of course not, you say. But how do you know you aren't doing just that? I certainly never thought as a professional social worker that I would be making only $3.80 per hour. But that is exactly what I was doing. When I worked as a social worker, I made about $28,000 per year. Not a great MLM salary but, combined with my husband's, was a decent income. So why was I always broke? Why did we have a good income but couldn't afford to go on vacation? Worse, I couldn't afford to take the full 12 weeks allotted for maternity leave when my second child was born. The reason was that I had no clue how much I spent to work outside the home.

Here is what I paid each year so that I could work:- $3,000 for Federal and State government income tax, Social Security payments and Medicare tax. - $6,000 for childcare- $2,400 extra for car payments, car insurance, and personal property tax for a newer car.- $1,700 for commuting 10 miles a day. - $1,000 for clothes, dry cleaning and other items and services related to my professional appearance. - $1,000 for lunches. - $2,600 for convenience foods and dining out because I was too tired to cook.- $2,400 for I-deserve-this-because-I-work-so-hard items and guilt treats (toys, special outings) for my kids. Total cost of work: $20,100!I spent $20,100 to work! That equaled an income of $7,900 per year, $152 per week... a full $3.80 per hour!

How much do you pay to work outside the home? Use the list below to calculate how much you pay to work. (Not your Network marketing expenses)

What did you discover? Is one-third, one-half or more of your income going to pay expenses just so you can work? It can be pretty depressing to learn you work hard but reap little reward for it. However, if working outside the home is costing you a lot of money, working at home may be the answer. But don't quit your job yet.

HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED TO SURVIVE?

Before you quit your job, you need to determine how much your family needs to survive. This requires making the dreaded family budget but it's a necessary hassle if you are serious about wanting to work at home.

OtherTotal Expenses:Now you can calculate how much money, if any, you would need to earn from home if you quit your job.

Take your Total Expenses and subtract the amount of money that comes into your home without your income. For example, if your monthly expenses are $2,500 and your spouse earns $1,900, you would need to earn a net amount of $600 ($2,500 - $1,900 = $600). Or would you? While $600 isn't that much to earn it isn't that much to save either.Look over your budget again and see if there are areas that you can save money. Can you survive with one car or a cheaper car? Can you cut your grocery bill? Can you use the library to borrow books and videos for free instead of paying for them?

Once you stay home, you will have more time to bargain shop for clothes, repair services, and other needs cutting costs on those items. When I did this exercise I sold my $350.00 per month car and bought a $188.00 per month car that also saved me on insurance and personal property tax. I cut my grocery bill by 20% and my utility bill by 10%. I joined barter and swap clubs on the Internet for books and other items.

With my new budget makeover, I saved about $700 per month. After doing the exercises above I discovered I could work outside the home 40 hours per week to take home less than half my salary or I could work from home part-time, be with my kids, and earn about the same amount of take home pay. It wasn't too hard of a decision to make.

By now you should know how expensive it is for you to work outside the home. Perhaps you were lucky and discovered that you pay more to work than to stay home. But even if you found that you would still need to earn an income from home, the amount should be significantly less than what you would have to earn working outside the home. You can now begin to search for work that will allow you to earn that amount from home.

Seven Keys to Effective MLM Online Prospecting

As a seven year student of Network Marketing I've had great success with online prospecting. After more than two years of trial and error I've come up with seven key points that'll make your prospecting efforts more effective.

KEY #1 - USE A "GENERIC" PROSPECTING WEB SITE

Why a generic site and not your company's site? Simply put, you can't effectively offer your opportunity as a solution to a prospect's problems until AFTER you know what those problems are. Let me explain... As Network Marketers we believe that our industry can offer financial freedom and time freedom to those with a great enough desire. But, we also know that if a person doesn't have strong and compelling reasons to get involved, they're just not at the right time in their lives to have much chance of success. Look for and visit some generic online prospecting sites. Choose one that forces YOU to revisit the reasons you joined your company. Choose a site that you feel will pull a deep emotional response from a visitor. A good online prospecting site will do that and more. It will act as a "filter" causing those not yet ready to click out, and compel those who are to take action and inquire about what you have to offer.

KEY #2 - PROVIDE A FORM TO CONDUCT AN INTERVIEW

From my experience I have found that the greater the emotional response, the more information she will be willing to give you about herself. And the time to get that information is RIGHT NOW! Your prospect has just emotionally confronted the problems she is experiencing in her life. She hopes you can help her. Now is the time to ask her questions and LOTS of them. Her answers will show you exactly how to present your opportunity as a solution to her specific problems. Therefore, the online prospecting web site you choose MUST have a response form that asks her questions that will provide you with the information you need. Preferably, this form should be set up in the form of an "interview" and ask PROBING questions. Aside from the basic information you'd always ask for (name, address, etc.), here's a few examples:

-Does she have large credit card debt? How much? -What would an extra $500 per month mean to her? -What would she buy with the extra money? -How much time could she devote to a business? -What about her would make her a good candidate for owning and running a business? -How would she feel to have more free time? -What would she do with it? -Does she have children? How many? -What is her current occupation? -Does she like it? -Has she ever owned a business before? This kind of response form can be a further filter for sorting good prospects from bad, as well as good from great. A person willing to give every piece of information you ask for is a good prospect. The form should also provide text area for "Additional Comments". The really great prospects (the ones for whom the time is exactly right) will use this area to share exactly what they want to change in their lives and WHY.

KEY #3 - YOU MUST MAKE PERSONAL CONTACT WITH HER

While the Internet is the perfect medium for online prospecting of potential Network Marketers, it's also a very impersonal place. And we all know that our business is built on "personal relationships". So, when someone fills out a response form from your site do yourself a great big favor - CALL HER! This ONE thing alone will separate you from EVERY other online prospecting web site she's visited before. (And believe me, she's visited many!). And your call has another very positive effect on her. She'll feel that what you have to offer may also be real and worth her consideration. The call should be very short, but friendly and courteous. Just introduce yourself and tell her you are following up on the "interview" she submitted at your web site. Use this call to verify that the email address she gave you is correct. While making this call DON'T try to recruit her or bombard her with your opportunity. And don't answer questions about your opportunity. Now is not the time. You keep control of the conversation. DO inform her what the next step is....

KEY #4 - AUTOMATE A POWERFUL PRESENTATION

Your next step can be whatever you currently do with offline MLM prospects. Send her to a nearby opportunity meeting, company web site, etc. But, the true power of online prospecting is in the use of email. I use a "smart autoresponder" to automatically send out a series of emails to present my network marketing opportunity. The emails are set up to go out at different intervals depending on what was presented in each email. All I have to do is enter the prospect's name and email into the system. The KEY for these follow-up emails is that they be personalized. They must appear like you wrote each and every one of them specifically for her. You must use her name often and like she is an old friend.

KEY #5 - PERSONAL FOLLOW-UP

After there has been enough time for her to have reviewed the email presentation make a personal follow-up call. The follow-up call is the perfect time for a three-way with your upline or another mentor. The third-party lends credibility to you and your opportunity. It also let's her know you're serious, that you care, and are ready to help. Pay special attention to the few prospects who contact you DURING your presentation process. These people are showing you they're motivated and are likely ready to join your program! Without exception, I have sponsored EVERY prospect who contacted me during my email series. And every one of these people are "a step ahead" of the rest of my downline. Call these people immediately and answer their questions. Then SPONSOR THEM!

KEY #6 - TIMING, TIMING, TIMING!

The personal contact phone call, the email presentation, and the follow-up call all need to happen quickly. Again, it is important to remember that your online prospecting web site caused an emotional response that got your prospect to fill out the response form. Don't let that emotion die. The personal contact phone call should happen within 24 hours of receiving the prospect's interview. Your presentation needs to get into her hands immediately. If you're using an info-packet, send it overnight. If you're using email start them immediately. The follow-up is not quite as critical (unless she contacts you first). Your prospect needs ample time to get through the information. Since my email series takes about a week to be complete, I wait around 10 days. My sponsor and I make calls one evening a week. I follow up on my own with those we can't reach on that night. When I get an answering machine I ALWAYS leave a message. You will be surprised how many people are screening their calls and pick up when you mention your online porspecting web site. If they actually aren't at home I want them to know that I am trying to reach them.

KEY #7 - CONTINUE FOLLOWING UP

Don't take anyone off of your list. If the timing wasn't right for her now, it might be in the future. Put all your prospects into an email file and send them updates and information periodically. Keep an open eye for good information on Network Marketing, your company press releases, and your company's new product launches. Compose friendly and short emails and send them out to your list periodically. Every now and then someone on your list will stick their head up and join your program. Remember not to SPAM. If someone requests that you stop sending info remove her from your list immediately. CONCLUSION Network Marketing via the Internet provides a way for many people to overcome obstacles that have prevented their past success in our industry. Prospecting, recruiting, and duplication has never been easier than with the automation made available via the Net. By the way, are you wondering why I write in the female gender? My experience shows me that women out-number men about 4 to 1 when it comes to looking for home based business.

MLM Prospecting Reality.

It makes sense that if you are going to sell product or build a Downline, you must have folks to talk to, otherwise you will be in for a long drought of business.

Understand:: There is a Reason why the Last 3 Letters in Prospecting are ING! That means... ongoing... nonstop... fluid... unceasing... continuous... constant... engaged... get the Picture? Prospecting is a Continuous Process of finding people to Talk to about your business and your Products.

Now the Question is: Where do you start looking if you are new? Your sponsor should help you with that. But as a review:

There are 4 kinds of Markets in your world:

1) HOT Market - People you are closest to... friends and family you talk to daily or at least a couple times a week... folks who will help you out no matter what.
2) WARM Market - People who you are close to, and who you care about, but maybe see them on a less frequent basis than your Hot Market.
3) LUKE-WARM Market - Professional contacts, Social contacts, People you know and occasionally see.....and referrals from folks who you know.
4) COLD Market - People you Don't know.

What you need to do is make a list of 100 people you know. Use a memory jogger. See your upline as your company should have one.

Stop looking for people who only want to Sell! .Start Looking for people who want to earn an Extra income. People have dormant dreams and there are many psychological factors involved in why they have not obtained them. Most need and want extra money. Show them how they can obtain their dormant dreams with your Network Marketing company. Look for people who WANT to do this business, not just the ones who NEED it! Beware of folks who are looking for that "Get Rich' deal. Desperation in folks is not a good quality to bring into this business. People rarely follow desperate people.

There is a HUGE difference between a Prospect, and a Project. A lot of folks come into this business and they end up being a Welfare Project for the sponsor. They end up making the sponsor do the work and drain valuable time and emotions from people. Understand: This is not Net-Welfare Marketing, .but Net-WORK Marketing! You should prospect for those who do work and have a history of it. If they don't, it's Project time for you!

Create more Leads than you can call on! - "How to Create a Prospecting Tidal Wave" Training series

Use what we at PassionFire call the "5 Star Rule'....look for those MLM Prospects who are...

1) At least 25 years old or older. This age seems to be the age of where this business is considered more seriously and approached more maturely. There are exceptions of course.
2) Married (preferrably happily!)This creates a team effort in a lot of instances which is one of the TRUE Hidden Secrets of Success in MlM. It is a great Synergy.
3) Parents.The responsibilty that comes with children can be transferred to this business. And Parents do want to provide a great Life for their Kids.
4) Employed with at least 25,000 dollars a year.. Being employed shows that there is a good work ethic and an income that can help support the business as it is being built..
5) Homeowners. This shows stability and responsibility plus a good eye for the future. Sshow them how to pay off their House early.

The "5 Star Rule" is a HOT way to Ignite your brain with who first to call on in your mlm business . Also, there is what we at PassionFire call the "D2 Principle" in Prospecting.

Look for those who are:
1) Dissatisfied.There is no better person to talk to about this business than someone who is dissatisfied with their current life, career, job, situation. A Fire is smoldering in them but, .not only do they need to be dissatisfied, but also have...
2) Desire to Change.There a lots of dissatisfied whiners out there who will never do anything to change or improve their situation. .Look for those who have a Desire to Change their situation. Ask.... " What are you willing to do to change that part of your life?" Their answer will reveal much.
Listen to what people say in normal conversation, about change and the things in life they want, but don't have in their life. Listen to people who talk about wanting to do something, but not sure what. .Listen for people who want to change their career, job, life. There is a Gold Mine for Home Business prospects there.

When Prospecting, push buttons to find out where a prospect is:
1) The Entrepeneur Button. Are they interested in the business? Find out! Ask them.
2) The Consumer Button. Are they interested in the Product to purchase?
3) The Dud Button .Are they a dud? Just no interest? Great!!! Remember this: Every Dud knows a Stud! Get a referral from them. Ask: "If you were going to do this biz, who would be the first 2 people you would call?"

According to Webster's Dictionary..Prospecting is.
."Looking for Gold."

You have to DIG! As long as you have that focus and mentality, and understand gold runs in VEINS... you will have more MLM leads than you can follow up in.

1) Thou Shalt Recruit through Your prospects eyes.

So many times when we are trying to recruit, online or offline, we do not take the time to see what our prospect is seeing. Your prospect is looking through THEIR eyes, not yours, and has no clue to how you see things...the only thing that matters to them is how THEY see things...and the recruiters who take the time to learn what their prospect is looking for, what is important to them, and what isn't, will have huge success. Your prospect has a dream for their life, and you must look through that "dream lens" of theirs, and see what they are looking to happen with their life, and show them how you can help them get it.


2) Thou Shalt Focus on Relationships, not just Distributorships.

Power Recruiters in this business understand that the Gold in this business is a long term relationship, not a short term distributorship. That is why most people cannot recruit...they are focused on a paycheck, not people...(CLUE!!!!!)Power Recruiters also know that people are more ATTRACTED to someone who cares about THEM FIRST- then the business. You must be a friend first, before you will ever get to second base...and what makes more sense?

Recruiting for a Long term retirement producing business, or a short term paycheck? If you focus on your prospect and learn about THEM as a person, not just as part of the process, you will find your results will skyrocket. Relationships are magnetic...Magnetize your Distributorship with Relationship Recruitng!


3)Thou Shalt Garner Leads Everyday.

Leads are the lifeblood to any distributorship. And most folks play the " Baking game" in recruiting. Instead of going out and getting new leads daily, they go out and hold onto their existing leads, and wait for them , like a cake in an oven, to bake and turn into HOT leads and ones that will come into their business. Are you a chef? or a leader? You MUST have a methodical plan and system to create and find leads daily, and to quit the "baking game"..which in reality is the "faking game"..you are faking at doing this business by holding onto leads that you hope will turn into prospects, even after a negative response, but never do.
The Magic is in the Multiples....and the Lotto is in the List. Continue daily to get at least ONE MLM lead a day to create enough numbers to talk to that will create enough of a paycheck to talk about.


4) Thou Shalt Draw Them In.

When you recruit, you must draw your people into your "world"..We have a saying at PassionFire..."Meet them in their world, and then lead them to yours..."..What that means in order to attract and draw your prospect into your presentation or conversation, you must start in theirs ...Find out what is important to them, and the what they want out of life...then wrap your presentation around that. Ask lots of questions, and paint a picture with your words with them obtaining their dream....look them in the eyes, smile, touch their arm, nod your head, talk their language...don't get too technical...and meet them first where they are in life...and then take them to where you can lead them....that's Power Network Marketing Recruiting.


5)Thou Shalt Educate, not Regurgitate.

You must understand that Recruiting is an education process , not just informing and regurgitating facts. People want to learn...that is their nature when they are looking at doing something...but many folks "Dump" all they know on them, and suffocate them with Information, not education. Recruiting through an Education Focus is a process, step by step, not a Firehose program. And educating the prospect also is giving them the information they want to learn about, not just what you want to talk about.(CLUE!!!)Education is a whole less intimidating way to recruit too...all you say is..."I don't know if this is for you or not ...worse thing that could happen is you could learn something.."

6) Thou Shalt Communicate Hope, Possibilities, and Belief.

When you recruit, you should have a presence about you that screams Hope! Possibilities! Belief! And that is what you create in your words...."How would it feel to have total freedom?"...Imagine you obtaining that house you want for your family.."..." Wouldn't it be incredible if...".."Can you feel the joy with..'... All people are looking for more Hope in their life, the hope that life will turn out better than it is. All people are looking for more possibilities to increase and improve their life. And all people are looking for more belief that they are on the right track, and belief they can have a more richer and fulfilled life.
You must create an environment of Hope, Possibilities, and Belief when recruiting. That "oxygen" will prove to be Explosive..

7) Thou Shalt Know the Fortune is in the Follow Up.

It does no good to make a presentation and do all the initial recruiting steps...if you don't Follow Up. Get this: Follow Up is where you get paid! The earlier steps are just leading up to it. If you want to create a fortune, create a system to follow up, and stick to it, and make it duplicatable as well.
If you discovered a Gold Mine, you would want to finish digging and finding the gold vein. It's the same in the follow up. There is no paycheck with out a call back! (CLUE!!!!)
The fortune is in the Follow Up...No Follow Up, no Check going Up!


8) Thou Shalt Not Close...But Navigate.

We teach "Navigators" to get the decision for the application...why? The last word in close..is Lose....and if a person doesn't close someone, they see that as a losing situation....how about navigating them to a decision that is right for them, and without pressure, help them make a decision that is right for their life...Can you be persuasive? Absolutely! but be mindful that if this business is truly NOT for them, they may know someone who it is for......What are Navigators? They are simply phrases that help guide the prospect to the finish line. They are Powerful, and deadly....

9) Thou Shalt Shake the Dust Off Your Feet.

The Greatest Teacher that ever lived told His Disciples "If a town doesn't find your message in accord...shake the dust off your feet...as a testament against that town...". Incredible advice! Understand these 3 things:
...Not everybody is for this business.
...There is no one blinder who can see, but won't.
...They aren't rejecting you, but themselves from success.
If you carry with you all the negatives that you can get in this business, they become "Anchors' on your business. Release them and shake it off, and move forward. Look for people who are looking for you...

10) Thou Shalt Know the R.I.A.F.O.L. Rule.

What is that? It stands for Recruiting Is A Form Of Leadership. Period. Why is that True?
...You are asking someone to follow your lead into a business.
..You are asking someone to follow your lead into a business.
...You are asking someone to follow your lead about a product...
...You are asking someone to follow you into an unknown future.

And when you recruit, people are looking to FOLLOW you, not just sign up with you..(CLUE!!!!). They will be looking for Strength and Solidity in you and your direction and Leaderhip. The most Powerful recruiters in the world have a Leadership Presence and focus about them If you are not strong enough to follow, you will not be magnetic enough to join in Network Marketing.

Leadership is the secret to magnetic recruiting..You are asking someone to follow your lead...but first, you have to be worthy of following.

The 60-Second Prospect Rating System

What if you knew exactly which prospects had the highest chance of success in your network marketing business before they ever joined your business?

What if there was a way to pin-point who they where? And what if this took less than sixty seconds per prospect?

Would such a "Prospect Rating System" be helpful to you? You bet it would!

In this issue, I'll give you a step-by-step method to rate your prospects, assign each a point value and rank them from "sizzling hot" to "sub-zero cold."

I can reel off a list of super successful Network Marketers who use a prospect rating system which you are about to learn. It's the exact same system I use and teach.

Let's say you have a list of a hundred prospects and twenty of them where a hundred times more likely to succeed and succeed big, in your network marketing business.
Wouldn't you want to know who those twenty where?

And wouldn't you want to spent 90% of your prospecting efforts with them?
After all, if they joined your business they could earn you thousands even tens-of-thousands of dollars!
Prospecting and sponsoring the other eighty could cost you hundreds, even thousands of dollars and take up precious hours with very little financial gain. One of biggest mistakes most Network Marketers make is they guess who those twenty potential players are and... spend most of their time working with the other eighty!

Wait a minute you say! How do I know who the "players" on my prospect list are without working with them first?

A-ha! Well, I'm going to show you exactly how! This easy to use system will catapult you towards the "players" on your list and sink the "dream stealers" to the bottom of your list faster than a pair of cement shoes!
Come closer to the screen.

Listen up. What I'm about to share with you can put thousands of dollars in your pocket, as long as you:
1) Use it and
2) Teach your team to use it as well.

Now, it's important not to prejudge anyone on your prospect list - however you do need to sort them so you know who to work with first.

Before we get started, get out your prospect list.

What? You don't have an MLM prospect list? Shame on you.
OK, then pull out your "Memory Jogger" and write a list of at least twenty prospects. Do it now. Stop! Stop reading! Get up out of your chair and get your prospect list or go and make one.

Remember, you can't succeed at this business simply by reading about it, you have to actually do it! Don't fool yourself into thinking that "reading" without "doing" will make you successful, IT WON'T!
I bet the ratio of Network Marketers that have read and listened to dozens of books and tapes about Network Marketing and never sponsored a single person into their business to those that have, is probably 100 to 1! I'm not kidding, and the sad thing is the exact same 100 distributors could be successful if they simply "did" just some of the things they read about!

Alright, I had to get that of my chest... back to your list. Now that you have your list let's move on. (If you are serious about your success then you actually do have their list)

How to Use The Prospect Rating Sheet toCatapult the Players to the Top of Your List!

This is the easy part. Take the first person on your list and go through each of the following eight attributes and give them a 0, 5 or a 10.

Time to rate your prospects:

The Prospect Rating System

1. DESIRE: The greatest desire is often found in a person who has had financial success and lost it. If you show them some hope of getting it back, they will work non-stop. Look for people who are not satisfied with their jobs, boss or life in general.
0 - Broke or no desire to change.
5 - Dissatisfied or bored with job or boss. Desire a challenge.
10 - Made lots of money and lost it or has great financial strength and is looking for a challenge, more recognition or free time.

2. DISCIPLINE: Combined with desire, these are two of the most needed characteristics. This is the ability to follow through even when you do not want to.
0 - Almost anything causes diversion, recreation is a priority over financial stability.
5 - Follows through at times.
10 - When focused on a goal, lets nothing get in the way...a workhorse...enjoys the pace.

3. ATTITUDE: Their general outlook. Are they open-minded? Are they positive or negative? Do they have a dream? Do they feel they can do better financially and just need the right vehicle?
0 - Poor self-image, sees no hope of financial change, always negative, no dreams.
5 - Average self image, sometimes positive and motivated. Some dreams, but not committed to them.
10 - Great self-image. If they see someone else doing well they are confident they can do the same or better. Always act and think positively, even when circumstances are not. They feel they are destined to make it big financially.

4. SPHERE OF INFLUENCE: Size and quality of potential marketplace of people they know.
0 - Has no influence. No one would follow them anywhere.
5 - Small center of influence. Some would probably follow, 50 to 100 names on their warm market list.
10 - Tremendous center of influence, and almost everyone will listen and follow. Two-hundred plus names on their warm market list.

5. DIRECT SALES OR MULTI-LEVEL EXPERIENCE: Not necessary, but can be an asset.
0 - Never been involved and is negative towards the concept. Calls it a pyramid.
5 - Never involved but not negative. Recognizes that it can work and would consider trying if the right one came along.
10 - Has Spring, Herbalife, NuSkin, Prime America, NSA, Amway, Mary Kay, etc. in their background. Or has gone through extensive management, skills or sales training with a corporate or direct sales company.

6. SELF CONFIDENCE: The ability to recruit and talk to moderately and highly successful people.
0 - Weenie. Have to always be re-convinced. Negative. Needs continual reassuring.
5 - Willing to try and overcome fears of approaching people. A doer.
10 - An eagle willing to soar. Excited person. Will approach all kinds of people, regardless of their socioeconomic level.

7. TEACHABLE: Willing to listen and apply what is learned.
0 - Has all the answers. Does all the talking rather than listening to someone who is successful.
5 - Listens at times. Will try to follow a pattern but experiments at reinventing the wheel.
10 - All ears. Will work the business by a proven blueprint in the most duplicatable way possible.

8. FINANCIAL CONSCIOUSNESS: Imperative that prospect does not have a poverty consciousness and can see themselves prosperous.
0 - Settles for a 9 to 5 job. Believes a J.O.B. is security. Lives for T.V. Lazy, always complaining.
5 - Likes nice things. Presently striving to improve lifestyle.
10 - Wants to be financially independent. Realizes owning your own business is the key. You're done.

Add up the points and get a "point total" for that particular prospect. Great! That was kinda fun actually, wasn't it! Now, go to the second name on your prospect list and repeat the process. Then the third. And so on. You get the picture.

When you are done with every name on your list, put the 20% that scored the highest point total at the top of your list. These are the people you and your sponsor want to introduce the business to first!
Ahh, but that's not all. Sorting your prospect list will also let you know if you are sponsoring 'up' or sponsoring 'down'.

If your prospects are consistently scoring in the 50-80 point range then you are sponsoring 'up' and you will achieve success at a much faster pace than if your prospects are scoring in the 0-50 point range.
If you put the ideas in this issue to use, actually do the work, then odds are you will never have to even call the other 80% of those on your list!

Why?

Get this, and this is where it gets really exciting, pay close attention. By working with the top 20% of those on your prospect list first, and teaching those that join your business to do the same, your group will be growing so fast that you will barely have enough time to deposit your exponentially growing commission checks!
I call this "Success Compression" -- cutting down the time it takes to reach the top levels of your pay plan. We'll be covering more on the concept of "Success Compression" in future issues. The "players" in this business take this concept to the bank, month after month after month... and thanks to good ol' Art, who doesn't mind sharing the "insider secrets of the pros" now, you can to!

Networking Your Way to A New Financial Future!

The type of business that is currently creating a great deal of interest and excitement among people from all walks of life is Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). Though the concept has been around for over 30 years, it's now attracting many people who never would have considered MLM before. Especially white collar workers and professionals. They're taking another look at this industry, because, after all, most of their businesses were built, and their financial bases created, by doing exactly what MLMers do - networking.
MLM may well be the "last frontier" for the entrepreneur with more moxie than money to start his or her own business. At the same time it gives the average person trying to "make it" on a salary, the opportunity to earn a second income in his or her own business, with relatively low risks. And now that we are facing massive lay-offs, firings, bankruptcies and unemployment, a low-cost, low-risk way to earn money is essential.

MLM/Networking Marketing has been evolving and changing continuously, and the 90s will be no exception. At one time, MLM was known as a "soap-selling" industry; then it evolved so that most consumables people buy in stores could be bought through MLM, especially nutrition and skin care products. In the 80s many non-consumables and major big-ticket items became available. Also in the 80s we saw services marketed through MLM. NOW something new has been added. There are several companies that are using Network Marketing to help charities accomplish their worthy goals - such as taking care of the homeless, helping to feed the poor, cleaning up the environment etc.

Your Sponsor and Your UplineOnce you've decided on your company, you want a sponsor who is actively involved in your company to give you the help you need. Sometimes your direct sponsor is new in the business, and that's fine as long as the person who sponsors him or her (called your "upline") will work with you. It's vital that you can get the marketing materials and training you need. Since most companies DON'T supply training (except in manuals most distributors don't read), your sponsor or upline must be willing to help you and train you, especially if you are new to MLM, or have not been successful in your other MLM efforts.

Your sponsor, or your upline, should be able to get you answers to your questions, and show you how to present your company's product or service, AND now to present the business opportunity. He or she should help you recruit new distributors form among your contacts, so you can build your downline organization. Since many companies do not have all the sales aids you are likely to need, it can be helpful to have a sponsor or upline who creates and/or duplicates necessary material for you to use with your people.

Some Additional ThoughtsThere are thousands of MLM companies to chose from. But only a few will be right for YOU. Once you've become a distributor, you are in business for yourself with all the advantages and risks of owning your own business. It may be a major undertaking where you will distribute a large line of products, or it may be a part-time involvement with a service company. It is still YOUR business. Perhaps you know that according to statistics, most small businesses fail (MLM and non-MLM alike). So what? As long as you live you're going to have to take risks if you want to move ahead. From the moment you wake up and decide to go out into the world, rather than stay in the relative safety of your home, you assume a risk.

Nothing great was ever accomplished without assuming risks. NO one ever changed his or her tomorrows by living life just as it was lived yesterday. If you have dreams of a better life - for yourself, your family, perhaps even for mankind - there is no better way to see them materialize than to commit yourself to taking that bold step forward. In the words of Goethe (who is much quoted these days): "Whatever you can do or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genious, power and magic in it. Begin it now!"

Some of the newer, simple inexpensive programs can help you "learn while you earn" (just don't confuse these programs with chain letters, where there are no centralized computers and no real product). This is an easy way to find out for yourself why so many millions of people are involved with MLM/Network Marketing, and find out for yourself if this industry is for you. With the right company and the right upline, it probably is!

But it is NOT saying the right things that will move you closer to Success....

it is DOING the Right things....

Many people believe the right things in MLM....

But it is NOT believing the right things that will move you closer to Success...

It is ACTING on your Beliefs that will do that.

Many people have all the right things in place....but the problem is....

They have put them in the wrong place....

ACTION is the Road to Success...and what you REALLY do today will determine what happens tomorrow....amd what you do tomorrow, will determine what happens next week....

What are You REALLY Going to do today?

May I suggest that it be one of three things:

1) Talking to new people.

2) Talking to new people.

3) Talking to new people.

These three actions will produce more down the road than anything else you could do today...

After all....

You are REAL to yourself about what you are doing in MLM and Network Marketing aren't you?

MLM Network Marketing Training- Are You Thinking Yourself Out of Success?

After nearly 20 years in this MLM industry, I have seen a lot of things that for whatever reason, have helped people, and have stopped people. And thereare those things that destroy people as well...

Many of us have taught many tactics and strategies (many you will learn in the PassionFire Training Letter) to help people create Success in their business, but I have found the weirdest thing happening: Many folks have great ideas about succeeding, but their thinking is taking them totally out of the game of Network Marketing.

They engage the actions that are meant to create successful outcomes, but yet, get the same results as before.

Why?

Understand this: You work this business twice. First between your ears, then between your hours.

And all that happens between your hours is nothing more than a phtotgraph of what is between your ears. READ THAT AGAIN!

FIRST you think and see it in your mind, and then when you go and work the business, it is a replica of what you saw in your brain. It is impossible to take any kind of action without thinking it first.

No exceptions. It may take only a second, but first you think it and see it, then you do it.

And most of the time, we think:

"I will try this, but it probably will not work.."

"I'll probably get another NO".

"Why can't I do this like the succesful people do?"

"Here goes nothing"...

"I am no good at this business..."

"Why isn't this working for me????"

FIREStarter Secret:

WHAT you are sending out to people, they will send back to you. If you are thinking hesitantly, they will be hesitant to join you. If you are thiniking doubtful, they will be doubtful about joining you. If you are thinkiing failure, they will feel your failure...

But, if you are thinking confident, and they feel confidence, the odds just went up for them to enroll with you.

If you truly see yourself succeeding in your thoughts, then you will replicate that in your actions and people will respond acordingly.

If you are thinking, "This is so easy and I am going to radically successful!", they will feel that and be attracted to your thinking.

Inferno Secret:

"Practice" in your mind everything you do, before you do it. "Before you send out, work the Success in!"

Practice:

Phone calls. Appointments. Home Business Meetings. Conversations. Follow ups. Asking for the order. Everything.

And see yourself winning at MLM, and helping others win at life as well.

Remember:

The thinking that you do before you take action, will soak your actions and words, and your prospect will feel it.

Cmon...let's be honest....
